Day 8: Bring a reusable bag with you this week

Our challenge today is another to consider while you’re out getting essentials this week. Bring a reusable bag with you when you go shopping this week. About 40% of all plastic we use is single use. And, there are some really simple things we can do to help lower that number. I carry reusable bags in the trunk of my car, but I’ll admit that it is easy to get out of habit grabbing them. I try to reuse any plastic bags I bring into my home, but really I can’t ever use more than I’m bringing in the house.
