Enneahive Seven

We’re exploring the Enneagram 7 today. This type is usually playful, high-spirited and practical. They are on the go and love new experiences.

My hive reminds me of a 7 when the bees are communicating with each other. When a scout bee comes back to the hive to share the news of where she found nectar or pollen she does a dance. Beekeepers call it the waggle dance! I love that. The quality and quantity of resources will determine how enthusiastic the dance is. The better the find the longer and more animated the dance.

The other bees are able to learn both distance and direction by how she is dancing. The direction is told by the direction the bee faces from the sun during the dance.
